Rotex Group, the global leader in the development of screening equipment and technology have recently introduced several new models to their industry leading Minerals Separator\u2122 and Megatex XD\u2122 product line. The new models are now capable of over 40% more capacity than the original Rotex Group Minerals Separator and Megatex XD allowing for greater volumes of throughput and positioning the range among the world\u2019s largest capacity industrial screeners.<\/p>\n
The Minerals Separator is a high-volume screener specially designed to meet the demands of minerals applications including Potash, Frac Sand and Bentonite whilst the MEGATEX XD is designed for Agriculture, Chemical, Fertilizer, Plastics and other miscellaneous industries. Both machines incorporate Rotex Group’s unique Gyratory Reciprocating Motion, a process that has been proven time and again to increase quality product yield while minimizing the rejection of good material.<\/p>\n
The new models offer either two separations or one separation, depending on requirement with the use of a coarse scalp deck offering up to 430 ft\u00b2 of screen area. The increase in size of the machines enables higher throughput capacities whilst still maintaining a compact footprint, similar to that of the original Minerals Separator or Megatex XD.<\/p>\n
With over 12 years of experience manufacturing both machines Rotex Group has improved the design with several new key features. These include quick release clamp handles for easy access and rapid screen changes, replaceable abrasion resistant linings in high wear areas, an aggressive ball mesh cleaning system to maintain high capacity and an externally located drive for easier inspections and maintenance.<\/p>\n
